On route to boxing lessons Billy Elliot happens upon a ballet lesson, enthralled, he secretly joins the class (knowing his father would never approve) and flourishes under the guidance of Mrs Wilkinson. When Billy’s father discovers his son’s plans to attend the Royal Ballet School, Billy has to fight to preserve his dreams and his destiny.

Critically acclaimed production

Billy Elliot opened at the Victoria Palace Theatre, in London’s West End to widespread critical acclaim in March 2005.
