Chicago: The Musical is set in prohibition era Chicago and focuses on two murderers, Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, as they pursue celebrity in the courtroom. This rip-roaring show includes iconic songs like, All that Jazz, Cellblock Tango and Razzle Dazzle.
Show story
Velma Kelly is a vaudevillian in jail for the murder of sister: Roxie Hart is a frustrated chorus girl who shoots her lover. Imprisoned in Cook County Jail, both women try to outshine each other in the media. Fighting for the services of lawyer Billy Flynn and relying on the favours of Mama Morton to achieve celebrity status.

Chicago is a Kander and Ebb musical, which satirises corruption in the justice system. The show is based on the play, Chicago, by newspaper reporter Maurice Dallas Watkins. Chicago is a record breaker, with the longest run of a revival in Broadway, while the West End version celebrates its tenth anniversary in November.
