Fat Pig written by American film director and playwright, Neil LaBute, is coming to the West End. The comedy opens at the Trafalgar Studios on 16 May and features an all star British Cast, including Robert Webb (Peep Show); Joanna Page (Gavin & Stacey); Kris Marshall (My Family) and Ella Smith (Sold).

Fat Pig Story

When Tom (Robert Webb) first meets Helen (Ella Smith) there is an undeniable chemistry, but it isn’t exactly love at first sight. Helen is bright, funny and sexy: she’s also considerably overweight. It’s not long before Tom’s workmates (Kris Marshall and Joanna Page) start making cruel jokes about his new relationship and Tom must decide what matters most to him: what other people think or finding love.

American playwright Neil LaBute has a reputation for going where other playwrights fear to tread: writing witty, controversial plays like Fat Pig. His previous work includes The Mercy Seat and The Shape of Things. LaBute has also enjoyed a successful film career, having written and directed movies like In the Company of Men, Nurse Betty and The Wicker Man.
