God of Carnage is a new play by French playwright Yasmina Reza, which features the truly amazing cast of Ralph Fiennes, Tasmin Greig, Ken Stott and Janet McTeer.
Play plot
In God of Carnage, Ralph Fiennes plays the father of a nine-year-old boy who’s hit another child at school. Consequently, he and his wife (Greig) are invited to meet the victim's parent's (Stott and McTeer) to discuss the matter. Will it be a calm and rational debate between grown-ups or a hysterical night of tantrums and tears?

God of Carnage reunites the team behind ‘Art’: Christopher Hampton translates, Matthew Warchus directs while David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers produce Reza’s new play. Yasmina Reza has written seven plays to date, including the critically-acclaimed Art, which has been translated into 23 languages.

God of Carnage’s impressive cast is made up of Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter, The English Patient); Tamsin Grieg (Olivier Award Best Actress for Much Ado About Nothing, Green Wing); Janet McTeer (Sense & Sensibility on the BBC, Mary Stuart) and Ken Stott (Death of a Salesman, Rebus, Messiah and Shallow Grave).
