High School Musical, Disney’s hugely successful feel-good movie, is coming to the London stage! High School Musical will show at the Hammersmith Apollo from mid July to 9 August 2008. A great musical to see with the kids.

High School Musical story

High School Musical is a contemporary musical comedy about Troy, a popular high school basketball star, and Gabriella, a shy, academically gifted newcomer who discover they share a passion for singing. Their decision to audition for leading roles in the school musical threatens East High’s rigid social order and sends their peers into uproar.

In a desperate attempt to maintain the status quo, the 'Jocks', the 'Brainiacs' and even the drama club regulars hatch plots to separate the pair and keep them off stage. However, by defying expectations and taking a chance on their dreams, the couple inspires other students to go public with their own surprising hidden talents.
